And So It Begins...
If you are reading this post, THANK YOU! Thank you for taking the time to visit my little site, and thank you for reading my post. It is my grand plan to share this first draft of a YA (maybe YA?) fantasy novel and hopefully get some valuable feedback from YOU! I started this project six years ago, and since then it has evolved and grown into a story full of characters I feel might live and breathe in my house somewhere! You know you've been working on something for a long time when your own children don't think twice when you refer to one of those characters by name!
After countless web searches and loads of research, I've decided to start posting my novel, The Gate, here as a series of blog posts. Andy Weir was on to something, right?!? My goal is to post each chapter as it is available.
I'll start with Chapters 1-5 right away (because, well, they are written!!)
My goal is to continue posting a minimum of a chapter per week. With NaNoWriMo in full swing, I'm sure I'll get more than one per week done before December 1 rolls around.
So please, read. Read and give life to these interesting and amazing characters I have grown to love (and yes, hate as well). I would love to hear your feedback, if you are so inclined. Just drop me a comment and tell me your thoughts!
